From its inception, Temple Beth Torah Sha’aray Tzedek has reflected the very best in the Jewish spirit of community. Our Temple was founded by a handful of early pioneers who recognized the necessity of having both a synagogue and a center for Jewish activity in West Broward County. A combination of experience and hard work was then put into action. Mirroring a growth pattern common to South Florida, Temple Beth Torah Sha’aray Tzedek quickly expanded from a storefront to the land upon which our magnificent congregation now rests.

Today, Temple Beth Torah Sha’aray Tzedek, affiliated with United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, is recognized as being one of the premier Conservative Synagogues in the Southeastern United States. We are a proud recipient of the Synagogue of Excellence Award from the USCJ. With our award-winning Pre School, acclaimed youth programs, Framework of Excellence Religious School, and multi-faceted educational opportunities, Temple Beth Torah Sha’aray Tzedek strives to serve the needs of Jews in Broward County of all ages and interests. All of this progress has come about because of our devoted Temple Beth Torah Sha’aray Tzedek members. We have seen many dreams turn into reality; we continue to face the challenge of the future with joy in our hearts and energy in our spirits.
